Contract Clause Checklist

Work through a construction contract one clause at a time. Each clause tells you what it is supposed to do, the exact blanks that must be filled in with real numbers and dates, the warning signs to flag, and the language to ask for in writing. Mark each clause as in the contract, missing, or unclear, then print the review sheet to take to your builder, lender, or attorney.
